Elizabeth Castle 1922 and 1984
Elizabeth Castle is one of Jersey's most photographed locations. It was ceded to the island by the British Government in 1923, and in anticipation of the handover, a set of photographs was taken by historian and amateur photographer Emile Guiton
In 1984 the same parts of the castle were photographed and an album showing the comparisons of the same views 62 years apart is in the possession of Jersey Archive - Online catalogue reference /B/K/C/1
