Families associated with the property

  • Blampied: In 1941 John and Janet May Hatcher, nee Blampied, were living here. Janet was the daughter of Charles Clement Blampied and Mary Ann Lindsay. Charles left the property to Janet in his will, buit the bequest was later revoked. He was the son of Charles Blampied and Elizabeth Richardson, who was the daughter of Clement Richardson and Elizabeth Le Huquet. We have had some difficulty reconciling this descent with our existing family trees, but Clement was the son of Clement Richardson and Susan Bellot, and the maternal line is taken back a further three generations in Descendants of Pierre Belau.
