Historic Environment Record entry

Listed building

This farm group, with possible 17th century origins, retains historic character and contributes to its rural setting. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.

Multi-phase with possible 17th century origins. Formerly known as La Petite Ferme des Jardins. Used as a potato shed for first half of 20th century.

1889 can be seen on the north-east corner, probably date of extensive rebuilding of an older structure evidenced from thick walls and other traces. The western part appears to be the oldest section and the Richmond map does not show a north wing.

Ex situ stone dated 1607 in a shed to the south.

Bakehouse is well built with brick floor and corbelled brick roof, probably circa 1889.
