Descendants of Lucas Ahier

Unless otherwise stated, all children from generation 4 downwards can be found in the appropriate baptism register. Some online trees show a different father and mother and further ancestors for Jean (gen 5) who married Mabel Godel - see Descendants of Richard Ahier. There has been considerable confusion over Jean and Mabel's son Gedeon, and some doubt as to whether they had one. Online trees show a different Gedeon, born in 1646, who married Elizabeth de la Haye. His baptism is also not recorded. However, further research - see Discussion tab - has now confirmed that Jean and Mabel did, indeed, have a son Gedeon
