This tree was added by Mike Bisson in 2023, to trace the ancestry of Philip George Le Blancq, who was living in 1941 at 80 St Mark's Road. The tree has been assembled from church records, which fully support the descendancy. However, as always with a new tree, the relationships ideally need to be confirmed from other sources

Notes and references

  1. ↑ Jean may have been baptised in St Peter in 1796, the son of Jean Le Blancq and Jeanne, nee Piton, but this relationship is not certain
  2. ↑ The church records are confused about Marie Sophie's family name. The marriage record shows it as Peney, but the baptism recortds of all six of her children show it as Perrier. Both are common surnames in France. We have only been able to find one record for a Marie Sophie Peney, and that was in Lyon in the 1861 French census. There are over 500 records for Marie Sophie Perrier, but none can be linked to Jersey
