Fairfield Cottage

Petite Rue d'Elysee
Type of property
Hardly a cottage. More a typical 19th century Jersey five-bay country house

Families associated with the property
- Trachy: Blanche Trachy was living here in 1963 when her will was registered
Datestones
- JTC JLPS 1812 - white stone. This stone escaped the attention of Joan Stevens and the Jersey Datestone Register. Shown in the HER entry as JLPS, we suspect that this stone actually reads JLRS and represents Jean Trachy and Jeanne Le Rossignol, who were married in St Mary in 1808. Jean was a farmer and also a privateer
